Lose weight?

Well, it is now official.  According to a study of a number of different diets.  The true answer to losing weight is;

Trumpets please.

TaDa  ”Eat less.” 

A study done through the Harvard school of public health has compared a number of different diets to see if one is better than any of the others.

And the surprising, or not, result is that it makes little difference.  Which diet you follow makes little difference to the eventual outcome.  The more important things are:

  1. Less calories/Kilojoules.
  2. Support network.
  3. Increased activity.
  4. Changing your lifestyle.
  5. Set realistic goals.

Personally I think more important than any of this is to not diet.  Just go out and have fun. You will eat less anyway and being active and playing burns more calories than sitting worrying about your weight.
